Putting Tip
The first thing to decide on before a putt is the line. Once that is decided, the only thing to be thinking during the putt is how hard to hit the ball. Strength is solely controlled by how much you bring the putter back on the backswing (You should use the practice greens to determine the speed of the greens that day). A general guide I have is that usually taking the putter back to the inside of your back foot will putt the ball forward 8 feet on a flat green. The length of the forward swing past the ball is always the length of the backswing.
To determine the line of the putt, pay attention to how the green is sloped three feet from the hole. Always attempt to putt the ball past the hole by one foot if it misses.
